Mary Ann Elizabeth Torres

Mary Ann E. Torres, age 73, of Massillon went home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2019. She was born to the late Peter and Anna Marcella in Chicago on July 11, 1945. She married Francisco “Pancho” Torres on April 9, 1987 and they shared 32 years together. Mary Ann worked as a Bookkeeper for Altercare Nursing Homes. She enjoyed playing card games, watching John Wayne, Chuck Norris and Steven Segal movies and listening to country music. She will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Francisco; her children Anthony (Susan) Gregrow, Joseph Marcella and Silvia (Martin) Torres; her grandchildren Justin, James, Ryan, Tyler, Luz, Blanca, Teresa and Santiago; her brothers Tommy and Ronnie Marcella; her sisters Janet and Nora Marcella, Judy Nosko, and Barbara Williams; her faithful Rottweiler’s Stormi and Duke as well as a host of family and friends. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her son Edgar Torres; brother Robert Marcella and sister Rose Marie Zawilla. A Celebration of Mary Anne’s life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home & Crematory in Massillon on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 7p.m. The family will receive friends from 5p.m. until the time of the service.
