Mary A. Rutkowski

Mary A. Rutkowski, age 91, of Massillon passed away on December 10, 2020, due to COVID-19. She was born on September 2, 1929, to the late George and Mary Fabianich. She was a Washington High School graduate. Mary Fabianich married Joseph Rutkowski Sr. on August 27, 1955. She retired from Best Products after 20 years, in the jewelry department. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Massillon. Mary will forever be known as a loving and caring person to her children, grandchildren, family members and friends. She loved shopping, baking, playing cards, dancing, and bus trips to casinos. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph Sr., daughter Jane Rutkowski, brothers George Fabianich and Andy Fabianich of Colorado. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children Barbara Indorf and Joseph Jr. (Annette) Rutkowski; grandchildren Alexandra, Kristina, Michael, and Jillian; and sister Stella Crescenze. The family would like to thank the staff of The Laurels of Massillon for their exceptional care. A private service will be held for the family at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Massillon, at 11am on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Her final resting place will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
