Mary A. Hastler

Mary A. Hastler age 82 of Massillon passed away February 21, 2014 at her residence. Mary was born March 31, 1931 in Massillon to the late Joseph & Catherine (Pierzchala) Kolek. She was a 1949 graduate of Washington High School and a cashier at the Amherst Bordner's Store for 17 years. Mary enjoyed playing board games and cards with her family and going places and playing bingo with her friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Bob Hastler (2011), daughter Cindy Mysza (2010), and several sisters and brothers. Mary is survived by three children, Vicki (Jack) Sprankle, Becky (Joe) Danner, Bill (Beth) Hastler, her sister, Jennie Frank, her son-in-law, Jeff Mysza, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Her final resting place will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
