Martin Lewis Shady

Martin Lewis Shady Jr., age 77 of Massillon passed away Wednesday, May 14th at Rose Lane Health Care. Lew was born December 23, 1936 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Martin and Eva Shady. He served in the Marine Corp. He lived in Columbus and was a self-employed electrician. He loved camping, fishing, wood carving and was the Yahtzee King with his family. His family will remember himself as a perfectionist in what he did for others but not for himself. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois in 2012. Lew is survived by three children: Steven and Tammy Shady, Amy and Randy Wynett, and Kristin and John Paquelet. He has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A sister, Dana Ellis survives. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00-11:00 at the funeral home.
