Martha Swineford

Martha Swineford, age 85 of Massillon, passed away Sunday morning at the Laurels of Massillon. She was born on February 22, 1923 in Noxdale, Pennsylvania to the late William Pelford and Agnes Alice (Pish) Himes. Martha enjoyed being a homemaker.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Russel Swineford in 1986. Martha is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws, Jerry (Georgetta), Edwin (Lonnie) and Max Swineford all of Massillon; daughter and son-in-law, Jane (Link) Milhone of Simpsonville, SC; sister, Avanelle Allshouse of Massillon; brother and sister-in-law, Everette (Rita) Himes of Massillon; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. There are no calling hours or services. Private graveside services will take place at Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton at a later date. The Paquelet Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
