Martha M. Kelley

Martha M. Kelley, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2016. She was born on September 26, 1925 to the late Daisy (Morrison) and Frank Hartley. She was a graduate of Washington High School. She married Paul Kelley on December 11, 1946 and they shared 50 years together until his passing in 1996. Martha was a homemaker and loved teaching Sunday School at the Canton Baptist Temple, where she was a longtime member. She was a avid Cleveland Indians and Massillon Tigers Fan. Martha was a people person who enjoyed socializing with her friends and neighbors. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Martha leaves to cherish her memory her children Karen Moreland, Larry (Sheila) Kelley, Robert (Linda) Kelley and Kathy Cooksey; her grandchildren: Allison (Patrick) Porter, Wes (Tonya) Price, Melissa Wilson, Angela (Richard) Powelson, Jason (Leah) Kelley, Krista Kelley, Kevin Kelley, LeeAnn Kelley, Sean (Rochelle) Chilcote; 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, her brother Russell (Bonnie) Dayton and a host of relatives and friends. In addition to her parents; her stepfather Earl Dayton and husband, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter Connie Sue Kelley; her brothers Richard Hartley and Jack Dayton and her sister Margaret Green. A Celebration of Martha's life will be held on Tuesday, January 03, 2017 at 11am. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Pastor Delaney Young, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 02, 2017 from 6-8p.m. Burial will follow at Massillon Cemetery.
