Martha E. Church

Martha E. Church age 78 of Massillon passed away Friday. Martha was born September 13, 1929 to the late Raymond & Sybil (Huffman) Cottrell. Martha lived most of her life in Cleveland, and moved to Massillon in the 1990s. She enjoyed Bingo, sewing, Mountaineer Park, ice cream, and movies. Her family will long remember the blankets and quilts she made for them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers: Rosalea Starcher, June Hensley, and Robert, Ray, and Bennie Cottrell. She is survived by three children and spouses: George and Theresa Church, John and Jean Church, and Anita Kay Church. She has two sisters and one brother: Francis Randles, Irene Winter, and Ralph Cottrell; six grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Funeral service will be 11am Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
