Mart Woodruff

Mart “Billy Goat” Woodruff, age 77 of Massillon, died on Monday, July 12, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on April 25, 1933 in Hartville, Ohio and was the son of the late Conrad and Savannah (Davis) Woodruff. He had been employed by Superior Brand Meats where he was a butcher and Quality Castings where he was a crane operator. Mart was a member of the N.R.A. and enjoyed horseback riding and motorcycle riding. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was proud of his hard work ethic. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Wilbert Woodruff and his half brother Harry Brown. He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Feichter) Woodruff whom he married on November 30, 1958, his daughters, Tammy (Joe) Reidenbach and Debby (Rob) Gesaman all of Massillon, his grandchildren, Christine Goodell, Autumn (Matt) Hamm, Marty Seese, and Joshua and Noah Reidenbach, his great grandchildren, Damon and Mason Davis and Athena Goodell. Also surviving are his sister Donadean Green of Independence, MO and his half brother, Harold Brown of Massillon. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 1:30 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. John Stallings officiating. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
