Mart “Charlie” Gayhart, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on December 09, 2021. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Jim and Dora (Fugate) Gayhart on May 26, 1938. He married Henrietta Miller on June 30, 1962 and they shared over 59 years together until his passing. Charlie retired as a Foreman for Grief Brothers Paper Company. He enjoyed restoring old houses, working on his old cars, especially his 1957 Chevy Convertible. Charlie will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife Henrietta; his daughter Charlotte Rainsburg-Pradelski; his grandchildren Vanessa Rainsburg, Lauren Rainsburg and Jake Pradelski his nieces and nephews Debbie (Butch), Dave, Mike, April, Jim, John, Jerry, Lisa, Jack, Amy and Jim; his great-nephews and nieces Rodney, Rachael, Ryan, and Tammy and a host of family and friends. In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his sisters, Jamima “Mimie” Stanko, Vedia Lint, Georgeanna “Jane” Steel, Bessie Campbell; his brothers George Earl Gayhart and Robert “Bob” E. Gayhart and his niece Della Gerber. A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11:00a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Pastor Webb will be officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 6-8p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will take place at Brookfield Cemetery.
