Marsha Kay Surmay

Marsha Kay Surmay, age 74 of Canton, passed away at her home on Friday, March 8, 2013. She was born in Canton on August 6, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Jesse and Margaret (Curtis) Wright. Marsha was a member of Holy Family Parish in Navarre. She retired as a realtor with Howard Hanna. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jess Curtis Wright and Michael Wright, her sisters, Patricia Metzger and Dana McLaughlin and her step grandson Cole Surmay. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Surmay, whom she married on October 28, 1999, her children and their spouses, Kelly (Jeff) Tucci, Karen (David) Horvath, Katie Larke-Schlabach, Kristen Kilfoyle, Kevin Larke and Kerry (Dave) Angione, her grandchildren Tyson and Tara Tucci, Ethan and Elise Horvath, Aerie and Frances Schlabach, Bryce and Shane Kilfoyle, Sierra Larke and Grant and Grace Angione. Also surviving are her stepchildren and their spouses, Stan (Jayne) Surmay, Steve (Stacie) Surmay, Sheri (Merle) Weber and Shelly (Tom) Nesbitt and her step grandchildren, Shannon (Chris) Smith, Stanley Surmay, Miranda, Madison and McKenzie Weber, Sophia Surmay and Kyle and Karlee Nesbitt and her step great grandchildren, Talan and Bode Smith. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Parish with Fr. Michael Seifert officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either Jill's House 751 E.
