Marlene Gibbs Nye

Marlene Gibbs Nye, 68, of Massillon, passed away on April 25, 2022. She was born on May 23, 1953 to Hubert and Mary Gibbs in Canton, OH. Marlene spent much of her time cooking and introducing her family and friends to new meals. She was a lover of arts and crafts, always creating something new. She often hosted family gatherings and was devoted to spending time with her loving family and friends. Marlene is survived by her siblings, Jane Gibbs Lennon, Joann Parker, John Gibbs and Joe Gibbs as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her son, Michael Berndt, sister, Marilou Marsh, and nephew, Chad A. Lennon. A Graveside service will be announced at a later date.
