Mark Luther August

Mark August, age 65 passed away on May 11, 2014. He was born in Massillon, May 14, 1948 to the late Maurice and Maxine (Hoover) August. He was a 1966 graduate of Jackson High School. He married Marjorie Hill on November 04, 1972, spending 43 wonderful years together and she survives him. He worked at Air Enterprises for nearly 30 years as a Customer Service Representative. Mark's passions were his family, fishing and hunting, working on cars and he was a great cook. He will be remembered as a great human being who was loved and will be missed by all. In addition to his wife he leaves his children Matthew (Sara) August and Megan (Derrick) McKenzie; his grandchildren Vincent August-Pallottini and Ronin McKenzie; his brothers Bill August and Joe (Angel) August; his sister Carolyn (Robert) Kuhn and a host of in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 11AM at the Paquelet Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM and 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Aultman Compassionate Care Center or the Salvation Army. Papa wanted to let Vince know that whenever he's fishing, Papa will always be with you.
