Mark "Jere" J. Geier

Mark “ Jere” Geier, age 66 of Perry Twp. passed away on September 22, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Joyce and the late John “Jack” Geier. He was a 1969 graduate of Perry High School. Jere was a hardworking self-employed Landscaper, who enjoyed the great outdoors. Jere was the type of person who never knew a stranger and he was known for his generosity to others. He always had a cup of coffee in his hand and always ready to listen and offer good advice. Jere enjoyed his work and going fishing at the Little River Lodge in Ontario. He will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving son, father, grandfather, companion, brother, uncle and friend. He leaves to cherish his memory his children Casey (Jennifer) Geier and Courtney (Adam) Speer; the love of his life Lisa Fowler; his grandchildren Kaleigh, Dillan, London, Jackson, Isabella, Addison, and Alexandra; his sister Dierdre “DeDe”(Mark) Geier-Duell; his brothers John “Jace” (Sharon) Geier II, Jamie (Linda) Geier and Deirker (Carol)“Dion” Geier ; his extended family Kevin Fowler and Brian (Heather) Fowler; his faithful canine companion Pierre as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. In accordance with his wishes a private gathering will be held at a later date.
