Marjorie Vargo

Marjorie Vargo, age 89 of Canton, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at The Inn at University Village following a brief illness. Marjorie was born on May 29, 1925 in Dover, the daughter of John W. and Emma J. (Hanni) Stalder. She was a lifelong resident of the area. Margie loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Vargo whom she married on October 19, 1950; her sister, Alverna Mutschelknaus; and her brothers, Russell Stalder and Dalton Stalder. Margie will be sadly missed by her nephews and nieces, Donald & Dana Vargo, Judy & David Simmons, Donna & Joseph DeLillo, and Alex 'Cork' Vargo; her great nieces and nephew, Jen, Michelle, Lara and Christopher; and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 11:00 at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Her great nephew Rev. Greg Cooper will be Officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home TONIGHT from 6-8 p.m. and one hour before the service on Tuesday.
