Marjorie R. Alden

Marjorie R. Alden, age 89 of Massillon passed away Saturday February 7, 2015 at Bethany Nursing Home. Marge was born April 24, 1925 in Thomasboro, IL.to the late William & Hattie Keal. About 1946 she and her husband moved to Massillon. Marge retired as secretary for the principle at Longfellow Junior High. She was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Ruth Circle. At the Massillon Women's Club, she was member of the Craft Section. Her husband of 56 years, Carl Alden passed away in 2001. Marjorie is survived by two children and their spouses, Patricia & Chuck Barton and Carl W. 'Bud' & Marcia Alden; five grandchildren, Michelle (Jim) Mikulec, Jeff Alden, Stacey (Kraig) Hall and Stephanie (Chris) Stanford; 9 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren and a surviving sister, Betty Hyde. Funeral Service will be 11 AM Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Brookfield Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 AM until 11 AM at the church.
