Marjorie "Marge" A. Koontz

Marjorie "Marge" A. Koontz, 90, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Marge was born in Canton on September 26, 1931 to the late James Hoffman and Hilda (Hagan) Hoffman. She was a 1949 graduate of Timken High School. She married Roger Koontz on September 6, 1953 and they shared nearly 69 years together. Marge worked as a cashier for Fisher Foods for 15 years until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening and making quilts. Marge will be deeply missed by her Husband, Roger L. Koontz, Sons David (Julie) Koontz, Kenneth Koontz, Brad (Lori) Koontz, Sister, Marian Phillips,Brother, David (Carol) Hoffman, Eight Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Marge was preceded in death by her Parents and her Sister Irene Wernecke and Granddaughter Grace Koontz. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 10-11 a.m. on Monday, August 01, 2022 at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon. A Celebration of Marge's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 01, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Burial Park.
