Marjorie A. Carpenter

Marjorie A. Carpenter, age 82 of Dalton, OH passed away on Wednesday January 28, 2015. She was born June 13, 1932 in Barnesville, OH to the late Walker and Hilda (Boyd) Cunard. Margie's life was centered on her family and her church. She retired in 1989 as area secretary for the Montgomery Ward Stores. She was a charter member of Anchor Baptist Church. Margie is survived by her husband Donald Carpenter with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. They have five children: Gary (Priscilla) Carpenter, Lisa (David) Liggett, Jodi (Raymond) Boyle, Mark (late Crystal) Carpenter and Tina (John) Pike. Grandchildren are Melinda, Jeri Ann, Henry, Donnie, Brad, Matthew Ryan, Matthew Ray, Katelyn, Johnny and Christy. Great grandchildren: Olivia, Justin, Kyle, Kaylee, Henry, Graci, Charley and Walker. She has a brother, Donald (Beth) Cunard. Funeral Service will be Monday February 2, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the Paquelet Funeral Home; her Pastor Mark Jacobs will officiate. Burial will be at Brookfield Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 1-4 PM at the funeral home. Memorials can be sent to her church in her memory.
