Marilyn S. Rossiter

Marilyn S. Rossiter, 84, of Massillon, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024. Marilyn was born in Dalton, Ohio on April 28, 1940 the daughter of the late Floyd and Opal (Legge) Graber.

Marilyn was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Dalton High School. She worked for Dalton Local Schools and then retired from Waikem Auto Group. Marilyn was an active member of Dalton Presbyterian Church where she was the organist, choir director and youth director. Upon moving to Massillon she attended Jackson Friends Church. Marilyn enjoyed her Card Club group, and her Bible Study group. She loved spending time with her beloved cat, Tiggy.

She is survived by her children, Marlan (Denise) Rossiter, and Lynette (Richard) Arner; grandchildren, Jamie (Derek) Saylor, Lindsay (Cliff) Wagner, Mackenzie Arner, and Andrew (Charly) Arner; great grandchildren, Kaylee and Madison Landis; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lanny Rossiter, son, Bradley Rossiter, grandchild, Justin Rossiter, and sisters, Carole Snyder and Dona Massaro.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 10-11 am at the Paquelet Funeral Home with the memorial service at 11:00 am. Those unable to attend the service may click on Live Webcast at 11 am to watch the service. Private burial will follow at Newman Creek Cemetery.
