Marilyn Ruth Rowe

Marilyn R. Rowe, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 27, 2016. She was born in Massillon on December 03, 1930 to the late Raymond and Arlene Bevan. She was a 1948 graduate of Washington High School. She married John L. Rowe on May 15, 1954 and they shared 62 years together until her passing. Marilyn was a homemaker, taking care of her family. She enjoyed the great outdoors, loved birds and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Amherst Community Church and was President of the Women's Auxiliary at the Wilderness Center in Wilmot, OH, and a past member of the Massillon Rotary Club. Marilyn is survived by her husband John; her children Michael Rowe and Carolyn (Rich) Marcum; her grandchildren Steven Lowe, Jessica Marcum and Tyler Marcum as well as a host of family and friends. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Sunday, September 04, 2016 at 4p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4p.m. Burial will take place at 1:30p.m. on Tuesday, September 06, 2016 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH. www.paquelet.com Paquelet Funeral Home & Crematory – 330-833-3222
