Marilyn K. Hardy

Marilyn K. Hardy, age 74 of Massillon, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the Laurels of Massillon. She was born on August 1, 1939 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Gerda (Opperling) Trotter. Marilyn worked at Perry Rubber, Eaton Manufacturing and retired from MCA Sign Company. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and had volunteered at Affinity Hospital for more than 50 years. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William E. Hardy and her stepdaughter, Vicki Bridenthal. She is survived by her sisters, Judy Venditti and Cookie Brugh Wichert 6 nieces and nephews, her stepchildren, Dena Williams, Jim Hardy, John (Dawn) Hardy and Mike Hardy and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday 11:00 AM at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Private burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
