Marilyn Jean Roberson, passed away at the age of 93 on April 13, 2017, in her home due to heart failure. Marilyn was born on November 4, 1923 in Canton to Dwight and Evelyn Craig. She graduated from St. John’s High School in 1941. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Roberson in 1997, her sons-in-law, Howard Knapp and Tom Bushman, her grandson Jake Roberson and her brothers, Edward and Fred Craig. Marilyn is survived by her 11 children, Jean Knapp, Philip (Sharon) Roberson, John (Patricia) Roberson, Evelyn (Joel) Robertson, Mary (Ron) Pribich, Virginia (Gary) Heckathorn, Janet (Geno) Ascani, Joyce (Mike Spelman) Bushman, Patricia Smith, Paul (Debbie) Roberson and Marilyn Roberson, 19 grandchildren, Jack Knapp, Jill Dunn, Ruth (Kevin) Laughary, Joni (Cullen) Factor, Kati Roberson, Erik Robertson, Christinia Robertson, Sasha Pribich, George Pribich, Paul (Marissa) Pribich, Nicole Pribich, Nick Heckathorn, Sam Heckathorn, Andrew Bushman, Timothy Bushman, Jason Smith, Nick Roberson, Jackie Roberson and Olivia El-Kamhawy, 7 great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Emma, Zoey, Jovan, Noelle, Elli and Joan, her sister Virginia Heggy and her sisters-in-law, Donna Craig and Pat Craig. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 20th at 12:00 Noon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Gretchko officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Canton. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Thursday from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to The Church Restoration Fund of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Massillon.
