Marilyn Hostetler

Marilyn E. Hostetler, age 86 of Massillon died Monday afternoon, September 26, 2011 at Affinity Hospital, Massillon campus. She was born in Canton on March 1, 1925 to the late William W. & Jennie F. Raeder Walter. She was a 1943 graduate of Lehman High School. Marilyn worked for Timken Roller Bearing Co. in the payroll department for 5 years until she married. Marilyn was a member of Grace United Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. She also enjoyed traveling in their Airstream Trailer. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Walter. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald R. Hostetler, whom she married Jan. 17, 1948; two sons, William Ralph (Ann) Hostetler & Donald L. Hostetler; daughter, Holly M. (Michael) Beitzel; step-son, Gary Lee Hostetler; three grandchildren, Max (Meaghan) Hostetler, Justin (Sarah) Beitzel & Jessica Beitzel; one great-grandchild, Miles and a sister, Mildred Hutcheson of Canton. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
