Marijo Puffer, 88 passed away peacefully on February 10, 2021 after a brief illness. She was born on June 30, 1932 in Conneaut. Marijo was a Massillon resident most of her life. She moved to Winter Haven, Florida for 10 years before moving back to Ohio 3 years ago to be close her family and her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed reading historical novels and being out on the water in Lake Erie and Lake Mohawk. She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Puffer of Canal Fulton, Son Thomas (Debbie) Puffer of Wadsworth and daughter Jean Wantz of Jackson Township. She was lovingly known as “Gingging” by her grandchildren Mindy (Mark Lashley) Valentine, Kristi (Nicholas) Whalen, and Scott (Robin) Wantz. She cherished her Great-Grandchildren Ellie, Lilly and Gabby Whalen, Maddy and Trent Valentine and Aria Wantz. Her brother James (Sheila) Dunnington. Marijo was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Frank Puffer; parents Pearl and Beverly Dunnington; sister Lois Thompson and son-in-law Timothy Wantz. Family will receive friends at Christ Lutheran Church, Massillon on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 10am-11am with a Memorial Service to be held at 11am, Pastor Nancy Bacon, Officiating.
