B. Marie Specogna, age 78 of Massillon, passed away suddenly, Sunday morning, June 5, 2005. Marie was born in Massillon, to the late Harry & Anna (Wazlavek) Schoenfeld on March 30, 1927. She graduated from WHS in 1945. Marie then went to work as a secretary for the Massillon City Schools at Lorin Andrews, Washington High, and retired from Bowers Elementary in 1987. Marie married the love of her life, the late Louis J. Specogna on April 12, 1947. Marie & Louis shared a passion for building their three family homes. Her hobbies included ceramic painting, sewing, cake decorating & gardening. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Charles Schoenfeld, a sister, Anna Radabaugh. Marie is survived by her four children: 1 son Louis & Julia Specogna of Massillon 3 daughters Roseanne & Thomas Angle of Massillon Patti & Joseph Bieszczak of Mason Rebecca & Robert Cartia of California 5 Grandchildren 1 Great Grandchild 5 brothers Harry (Bud) Schoenfeld of Canton Edward (Pill) & Billie Schoenfeld of Tennessee Paul & Evie Schoenfeld of Massillon Roy & Gail Schoenfeld of Massillon Clifford & Stacey Schoenfeld of Warren 1 sister Gretchen & Jerry Heffner of Massillon A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, June 11th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Friends may call from 6 – 9 P.M. on Friday, June 10th at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Due to Marie’s love of reading, the family would appreciate memorials be made to the Massillon Public Library.
