Marie K. Guth

Marie K. Guth age 85 of Massillon, passed Friday evening at Windsor Medical Center. She was born on January 16, 1922 in Canton to the late Robert and Irene (Nauman) Newbauer. She was a 1940 McKinley High School Graduate. Marie retired from the Hoover company following 22 years of service. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Massillon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ernst Guth who passed away in 1988. She is survived by her daughter, Bonita Lang of Massillon; sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel & Cynthia Guth of Canton, Tim and Lori Guth of North Canton; sisters, Ethel Jones and Geraldine Newbauer both of Canton; grandchildren, Melissa (Joe) Kiko of Carrollton, Jennifer Cairns of Cleveland, Jason, Michael and Michelle Guth all of North Canton; great granddaughter, Emma Kiko of Carrollton. Funeral services celebrating Marie’s life will be held Tuesday at 10:30 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Rev. John Telloni officiating. Calling hours will be Monday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon and Tuesday from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
