Mariah E. Milleman

Maria (Mariah) Milleman, age 44, of Canton, Ohio, sadly left us on July 11, 2024. Mariah was born on January 5, 1980, in Canton, Ohio to Thomas “Gus” Vaughn and Carol Alt. A graduate of McKinley High School, Mariah was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Michigan University football fan, “Go Blue”!

Mariah was a beloved nurse and had a special gift of compassion and empathy for those in her care. Mariah was the general manager of Nathan’s Patio Bar & Grill since 2009. Mariah was the heart and soul of Nathan’s. Mariah’s generous heart touched many lives with her anonymous gifts and selfless lending of a helping hand to those in need. She was an avid animal lover and cherished her seven dogs.

Mariah made an impact on everyone she met. She will always be remembered for her infectious smile, her huge heart and her vivacious personality. She was small but mighty. She was fierce yet gentle. Mariah will be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to know and love her.

Mariah is survived by her loving husband of nine years, Nathan Milleman; son, Cortez Terrell, who was her pride and joy; sister, Heather (David) Shaw; nieces Randi & Rylee Shaw; father and mother-in-law, Kirk and Nancy Milleman; sister-in-law, Jennifer Milleman Schumacher; niece and nephews Ruby, Tommy and Jason Schumacher; “adopted” son, Nicholas Lexington; her Nathan’s Patio family and many close friends whom she considered family.

Mariah was preceded in death by her father, Thomas “Gus” Vaughn; her brother, Tyler Fedeli, and all of her loving grandparents.

Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 3:00pm on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Paquelet Funeral Home, located at 1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44644, with a funeral service beginning at 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mariah’s memory to the Humane Society of Stark County, The Stark County Dog Warden or Light After Loss at The Hope and Healing Center.
