Maria S. Martzaklis

Maria S. Martzaklis, 86, passed away in her sleep at home early Sunday, February 7, 2016. She was born in Plaka, Greece on September 17, 1929 to the late Konstantinos and Leonitsa Andriopoulos. Maria's life was dedicated to her family. She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Massillon. She is survived by her husband, Spiridon Martzaklis, whom she married on September 15, 1963; their children, Gus (Melissa) and George Martzaklis of Jackson Twp.; three grandchildren, Stephanie, William and Jacob; and a brother, Thomas K. Andrews. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Nicolette Evangelatou; and three brothers, Laki, George and Basil Andriopoulos. Friends may call at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 10:30AM-11:00AM with a Funeral Liturgy at 11:00AM, celebrated by The Rev. Fr. Constantine Shiepis.
