Maria Dovbish

Maria Dovbish, age 90, of Canton, was carried in the arms of angels into the arms of Jesus on May 2, 2018. She was born in the Ukraine. Mary loved singing, dancing, acting, and especially GOD and her family. When she came to America, she lived in Chicago where she was active in her church, always putting God first. Mary had three children with her husband of almost 65 years (May 17) Charles Dovbish Sr. She was a wonderful friend and mother to Charles Jr., Leda and Peter (in Heaven). She adored her grandchildren and still adores them from Heaven, Arthur (Mary Kathryn), Alex, Hannah, and Keeley. She was especially delighted with her great-grandchildren Noah, Noelle, Charles Arthur, and Mary Julia (Kolinka) Kendig. Funeral Service will be held at 9am, Saturday, May 5, 2018, in the Paquelet Funeral Home with Fr. Nakonachny officiating. Calling hours will be held from 6-8pm, Friday, May 4, 2018, also in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers Mary requested to please make memorial contributions to the Stark County Humane Society in Louisville where her best friend George came from.
