Margrit (Grillon) Doxsee

Margrit (Grillon) Doxsee age 89 of Massillon passed away Thursday April 22, 2010. She was born May 19, 1920 in Switzerland and came to Navarre in 1930. Margrit was a homemaker and an active member of St. Timothy Episcopal Church and the Alter Guild. She was a member of Massillon Senior Citizens and delivered for Meals on Wheels. Her flower beds were weed free and she had an amazing talent for growing raspberries and figs. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Paul E. Doxsee Sr., son Jonathan Doxsee, and two brothers George & James Grillon. She is survived by four children: Paul (Carole) Doxsee, David Doxsee, Kathy (Ken) Squires and Kelly Gayheart; a sister Vi Grillon; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and family friends: Norma Pendolino and Leota Williams. A Memorial Service will be 6 PM Monday at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church. The Rev. Henry Harris will officiate. A gathering of friends will be from 5 PM until the service at the church. Her final resting place will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family appreciated the care their Mother received at Meadow Wind.
