Margie Pearl Wilhelm

Margie Pearl (Harvey) Wilhelm, formerly McBride, age 89 of Massillon, passed away on February 9, 2016 after an extended illness. She was born in Tommy's Creek, WV on May 26, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Boyd Estel and Ellen (Wood) Harvey. After moving to Massillon, Margie met her future husband Jay A. Wilhelm, Sr. Together they raised seven children. Many knew her from working at Lambrous Restaurant and Perry Rubber. Margie was an avid doll collector. Margie loved the city of Massillon. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Massillon. Margie was the oldest daughter of 17 children. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jay A. Wilhelm, Sr., her children, Ruth Rozelle, Enoch McBride and Randy McBride, her sister, Garnett Pappas and her brothers, Lonniel, Jack, Frank, Elgie, Boyd, Larry and John. Margie is survived by her children, Shirley (Don)Wilhelm Delung-Hill, Timothy "Rickshaw" (Lori) Wilhelm, Jay (Vicki) Wilhelm, Jr. and Tracy (Betty) McBride, 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Douglas (Debbie) Harvey, Shirley Donze, Jerry (Linda) Harvey, Maxine Selogy, Martha (Bob) Lane, Dorothy Jennings, Gaynell Linkous and Clyde (Sandy) Harvey and her daughters in law Sharon and Dawn. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Edd Matako officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:30-1:00 P.M. Memorials may be made in Margie's name to First Baptist Church, 20-6th St. SE, Massillon, OH 44646.
