Margaret Venables

Margaret Ann “Margie” Venables, age 58, of Massillon passed away Thursday morning October 8, 2009 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 13, 1951 in Orrville, OH the daughter of the late Kenneth and Doris (Cain) Forrer. Margie was a member of the Massillon Chapter of the Red Hats, the Y.M.C.A. swim class, the Sharing Group, and the Son’s and Daughter’s of Herman. She was an avid euchre player and belonged to the Massillon Euchre League. Margie is survived by her son Scott (Candy) Venables and her grandchildren Austin and Connor of Gallatin, TN; long time companion Ron Stalnaker of Massillon; siblings Richard (Mickie) Forrer of Massillon, Chris (Gary) Butzer of Akron, Jeff (Sandra) Forrer of Germany, and Sandy (Aaron) Rohr of Navarre. At her request the body was cremated. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 P.M. at Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE, Massillon. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Margie’s memory may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
