Margaret P. Miller, 91 of Massillon, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017. She was born in Irwin, PA on August 16, 1925 and was the daughter of George and Veronica (Link) Popp. She moved to Massillon in 1950. She worked for and retired (at age 83) from the Ohio Unemployment Office. She loved gardening, baking and canning, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. On February 1, 1950 she married Emil Earl Miller who survives her. Also surviving are her children, Emil Miller, Jr., Mary Ann Poling (Russell), Jacqueline McGaughey (Bruce) and Jeanie Feichter (Todd), 10 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 3 step-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Margaret “Peggy” Minning, her daughter-in-law, Suzanne Miller and 12 siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 8 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 322-3rd Street SE in Massillon at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Raymond Paul officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home and on Thursday from 9:30- 10:30 am at the funeral home.
