Margaret Mcatee

Margaret McAtee, age 90 of Massillon, passed away Thursday at Meadow Wind Health Care Center. Margaret was born August 28, 1921 in Zanesville to the late Franklin & Annabell (Pettet) Shiplett. She retired from the former A & D Foodarama. Her family and grandchildren were blessed with a wonderful cook and baker. She made everyone feel welcomed and was a wonderful example to all. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Gary McAtee (2000) & Roger McAtee (2003); two brothers, Francis Shipplett & Frank Shipplett. Margaret is survived by a son & daughter in law, Thomas & Ruth McAtee of Navarre; grandchildren, Kelly Moyers, Kristina Hudy, Keith McAtee, Denise Warth, Todd McAtee & Angela Velzka; and many great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Swanson of Florida. Funeral Service will be 11 AM Tuesday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
