Margaret M. Weirich

Margaret M. (Thornberry) Weirich, age 80 of Massillon, died Saturday, April 7, 2007 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 10, 1927 in Newcomerstown, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Foraker) Thornberry. She was a Massillon resident for most of her life. Margaret was a homemaker and a member of the Massillon Church of Christ. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Richard W. Weirich whom she married on September 7, 1946, her children and their spouses, Robert & Karen Weirich of Kansas City, MO, Mary Sue & Wilbur Van Dyke of Bellville, OH, Debra Ann & Larry Lowe of Massillon and Rebecca & Mark Shonk of Massillon, her brother; Gene (Harriette) Thornberry of Massillon, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Evangelist Glenn Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 PM and on Tuesday one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions be made to either Aultman Hospice or the Massillon Church of Christ.
