Margaret M. Serban

Margaret M. Serban, age 81 of Massillon passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the Legends of Massillon Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 8, 1929 in Massillon the daughter of the late Arthur Ricosky and Alice (Hieser) Hose. Margaret was employed as a store clerk at the Quick Shop Convenience Store. Margaret was big Massillon Tigers fan. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, boating on Leesville Lake, and camping. She also enjoyed the Duck Races. At the Legends she enjoyed bingo, euchre, and making crafts. Her family and friends will always remember her for her witty humor. Margaret is survived by her daughters, Kitty Kemp, Jennifer Gates and Christine Hintz all of Massillon; sons, Rick Stevens of Beach City, Mark Serban of Carrollton; twelve grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Newsome and Ruth McAtee; former husband, Nick Serban Jr. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Stevens, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4:00 P.M. at Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE where visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service. Cremation will follow.
