Margaret L. Wade

Margaret L. Wade, age 78 of Massillon, died on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 26, 1931 in Brewster, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Lowell and Florence (Stoner) Hayes. She was a 1948 graduate of Washington High School and a 1951 graduate of the Massillon Hospital School of Nursing. She retired form Mercy Medical Center. Margaret was a member of Perry Christian Church, A.A.R.P and the Massillon Senior Center. She was an active volunteer with the American Red Cross for many years. She was a former Perry Township Woman of the Year. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Norma Allman and Eleanor Snyder. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth S. Wade who she married on August 2, 1952, her children and their spouses, Mark and Terry Wade of Dalton, OH, Raymond and Vicki Wade of Berea, OH and Bill and Gina Wade of Massillon, her sister Delores Kress of Jackson Twp. and her nephew who she raised Jeffrey Snyder. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Service will be held on Thursday at11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home with Rev. Rod Geiger officiating. Cremation will follow and her cremated remains will be buried at Brookfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M.
