Margaret E. Laps

Margaret E. Laps, 81, passed away at home surrounded by her family following an extended illness. She was born in Massillon on October 31, 1934 to the late Andre and Lola Woutat. A member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Margaret was a faithful and dedicated mother. She was also an avid bingo player. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Roberta) Laps of Waite Hill, Larry (Tela) Laps of Canton, Linda (Robert) Dehnke of Canton and Todd (Shelly) Laps of Massillon; ten grandchildren, Scott, Matt, Mike, Justin (Laura), Lindsay (Mandish), Jen (John), Jason (Jessica), Abbie (Adrian), Kristen and Camryn; twelve great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Woutat of Massillon. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene L. Laps; and two brothers, James Woutat and Wilson Woutat. Friends may gather at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 6:00pm-8:00pm and on Friday, April 29, 2016 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church from 9:00am-10:00am with a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated by Fr.
