Margaret E. Flickinger

Margaret E. Flickinger, 69, of North Canton, passed away on December 31, 2020. She was born in Dunoon, Scotland to the late James and Marion (Jamieson) Buchanan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Stuart Buchanan. Margaret met the love of her life, Thomas Flickinger while he was stationed in Dunoon serving his country. They were married on February 28, 1970 and shared 50 loving years together. One of Margaret’s greatest qualities was the love and care she had for her family and friends. She was always happiest when they spent time together. She was a devoted wife and mother and an extremely proud Granny to her grandchildren who were the light of her life. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Tom; daughters Susan (John) Swiger, Heather (Scott) Workinger and Allison (Jason Skeen) Flickinger; grandchildren Kiera, Ainsley and Hunter; and two brothers Alan Buchanan and Dougie (Cath) Buchanan. The family will have a private service at Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
