Margaret Ann Axe

Margaret Ann Axe, 81, of Navarre, passed away on August 8, 2024 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center.

She was born on April 17, 1943 to the late Carl and Evelyn (Warstler) Axe in Massillon, OH.

She was a graduate of Fairless High School, and retired from Timken Company after 38 years of service. She was a member Navarre VFW #5047. Known for her impeccable lawn and flowerbeds, Margaret loved to spend time in the outdoors. She enjoyed watching her nephews participate in sports. She was a talented seamstress.

Margaret is survived by her loving, special great-nephew and caretaker, Andrew Zimmer; nieces and nephews, Nykole (Craig) Zimmer, Johanna Axe, Daniel (Annie) Axe, Paige (Richard) Barry, David Axe, and Jennifer (Patrick) Donovan; great-nephews and nieces, Zach, Colton, Blake, Bethany, Molly, Ethan, Zachary, Kaylee, Ciaran, and Fiona; great-great nephews, Ryker and Easton; brothers, Darcy Axe, and Michael (Carol) Axe.

A private family service will be held at a later date at Union Lawn Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Massillon and Stark County Libraries.
