Mardell Morton Feller, age 91 0f Massillon, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 16, 2017. She was born on June 1, 1926 in Brewster, Ohio and was the daughter of Victor and Mabel (Lantzer) Yoder. She enjoyed family gatherings, homemaking, gardening, bowling, and golf. She was a Sunday school teacher and was a member of Forty Corners Church of God. She had a smile for all she met and a contagious joy. Along with her parents, Mardell was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Morton, whom she met while they were working at J.C. Penney’s in Massillon and later worked side by side at Morton’s in Massillon until his death in 1976. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, William Feller and her sister Clea Hershey. She is survived by her children, Lloyd (Linda) Morton, Marian (Dave) Poindexter and Ned (Debra) Morton, her grandchildren, Cherie (Dave) Elledge, Ryan (Liz) Morton, Heather Morton, Melissa (Derek) Mullane, Rachel (Ryan) McBeth and Alex (Kelli) Poindexter. Also surviving are 7 great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Thursday from 11 am - 1 pm with a service to follow at 1 pm with her grandson Pastor Alex Poindexter officiating. Burial will follow at Newmans Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Forty Corners Church of God or Harbor Light Hospice.
