Marc C. Cleveland

Marc C. Cleveland, 43, of Massillon, passed away February 6th, 2025. 

Marc was born on April 6th, 1981, in Massillon to Curtis Bethune and Marriann Cleveland (deceased). He was a 1999 graduate of Massillon Washington High School. Forever a Massillon Tiger, Marc was a running back from freshman year (’96) through senior year (’99). He coached the Massillon Tigers football team after his high school career and remained a loyal fan throughout his entire life (proud #5!). When he wasn’t part of the game, he enjoyed watching his favorite team, the Colts, on Sunday nights and playing Madden. He worked as a supervisor at Wayne Dalton Door for 12 years, where his coworkers knew him for his uplifting spirit and kindness. Marc enjoyed bowling, playing tennis, and producing music in his free time. 

Marc is survived by his children Tevion Cleveland, Kiara Cleveland, Nayshaun Cleveland, Jasmine Harris, and Skylar Harris; granddaughter Maliyah Harris; significant other Melissa Skelton, and special cousin, Curry Cleveland. Marc will also be missed by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

In addition to his mother and grandparents, Marc is preceded in death by his cousins Crispin and Javis. 

Visitation will take place on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 4 – 6 PM at Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd. NE, Massillon, OH 44646, where funeral services will immediately follow at 6 PM.
