Lynn Ann Mcintyre

Lynn Ann McIntyre, 69, of Massillon, passed away on January 27, 2023. She was born in Akron, Ohio on January 1, 1954, to the late Richard and Lois (McElhany) Scheffler.

She was a proud graduate of Jackson High School and furthered her education as a nurse at Miami Valley School of Nursing. Lynn worked as an RN for both Aultman Hospital and Timken Mercy.

She was a longtime member of Word of God Community Church in Canton where she was a member of the choir and caretaker of the nursery.

Lynn’s passion for singing extended beyond the choir and her family will always remember her beautiful voice and love for music. She was also very talented at crocheting, making many baby blankets over the years.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Melanie McIntyre, Shane (Briana) McIntyre, and Rachel (Charles) Noble; grandchildren Charles Noble, IV and Noelle McIntyre.

In addition to her parents, Lynn was preceded in death by her brother, Richard A. Scheffler, II.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home and burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
