Luther F. Maynard, 60, of Canton, passed away May 24, 2022. Luther was born in Huntington, West Virginia on October 27, 1961, to the late Adrian and Anna (Perry) Maynard. Luther graduated from West Tech High School and proudly served his country as a member of the U.S Army. He spent 30 years in the trucking profession. Luther was a member of The Ohio Beekeepers as he kept several honeybee hives. Luther loved working on cars and motorcycles, was an avid collector of guns and knives, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. However, his favorite and most important hobby was spending time with his grandchildren. Along with his parents, Luther was preceded in death by his brother, Gary T Maynard, and sister, Brenda Maynard. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jonay M. Maynard; daughters, Annastasia M. (Mark) Maynard, Mallory K McCarty; sons, Luther B.J. Maynard and Adrian F. (Michelle) Maynard; sisters, Della J. (Ken) Robey and Sandra Christian; brother, John H. (Sharon) Maynard; 15 loving grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on June 4, 2022, at Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Road NE Massillon, where services will begin at 2:00 pm. Paquelet Funeral Home (330)833-3222
