Luella Autery

Luella Autery, age 86 of Massillon, went home to be with the Lord on November 01, 2017. She was born in Camden, Alabama on June 14, 1931 to the late Osie and Etta Autery. Luella worked at a variety of jobs before retiring from Grove Refrigeration. She was a longtime member of the Church of Anointment in Alliance. Luella was a spiritual woman and was loving and supportive to her family and friends. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Cavaliers fan, working in the garden and enjoyed cooking. She will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Sister and Aunt. Luella leaves to cherish her memory her children Vicky (Kenneth) Pascley, Wayne Autery, Cordette Autery-Hawkins, Gloria (Gregory) Sampson, Darryl Autery and Willie (Cameron) Autery; 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 1-great-great-great grandchild; her sisters Aree Oliver, Sylvia Craig, Wilalyce Jarvis, and Naomi (Gilbert) Smalls; her brother Charles (Cheryl) Autery and a host of family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Luella was preceded in death by her sister Ernielee Autery and her brother Oran Autery. A Homegoing service will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at noon. The family will receive friends from 10a.m. until the time of the service.
