Lucy J. Huffman

Lucy J. Marie Huffman age 73 of Massillon passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at home with family. She was born on December 6, 1938 in Kersey, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Michael M. and Bertha A. Colly. She married Clyde E. Huffman on April 4, 1959. Lucy worked at Kmart for 25 years until her retirement and then at the Knights of Columbus. She loved her flowers, family gatherings, and those who came to visit. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Lucy will always be remembered by her remarkable faith and positive encouragement toward people. She received her greatest reward of eternal life and everlasting love with the Lord. Lucy was preceded in death by three sisters including a twin, and four brothers. She is survived by her husband of 53 years. Lucy has two sons Randy (Becky) Huffman of Kettering, Ohio, Tony (Pam) Huffman of Massillon and two daughters Darcy Huffman (Allison Barnhart) of Massillon and Brenda Wilson of Brewster, four grandsons and one great granddaughter. She is also survived by a sister Alice Deemer of Pennsylvania and a brother Mike (Pat) Colly of Massillon. A Celebration of Lucy's Life will be held on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 5:30 P.M. at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Rev. Julia Wertz will be Officiating. Friends may gather at the funeral home from 4-5:30 P.M. on Friday. Private inurnment will take place at Brookfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wesley United Methodist Church 1600 Main Ave. West, Massillon, OH 44647.
