Lucille George

Lucille George, 81, of Massillon, passed away on July 9, 2017 at Meadow Wind Health Care Center. She was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on December 16, 1935 to William McKinley Underwood and Mildred Dietrich. Lucille married Kenneth George on June 27, 1953. They shared 34 loving years together before his passing in 1987. Lucille worked as a nurse’s aide at the Hanover House and more recently, at Hall of Fame Lanes in their nursery caring for children. In her spare time, Lucille loved to crochet and watch television. She loved being outside, especially in her garden. She will be deeply missed by her daughter and son-in- law, Joy & John Copeland; grandchildren James (April) Rudo, Colleen (Eron) Folsom and Jonica (Jason) Mullane; great-grandchildren Alexus Kellow, Jennavecia Mullane, Jayden Mullane, Jameson Mullane, James II Rudo, Brady Rudo, T.J. Haidet and Andrew Haidet. In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by; husband Kenneth George, sister Marcela Keifer and longtime companion Robert Caples Paquelet Funeral Home has assisted the family with arrangements and services for Lucille will be private.
