Lucille Engmark

Lucille (Massarelli) Engmark 97, of Massillon, passed away on September 6, 2022.

She was born in New Philadelphia, Ohio on August 25, 1925 to the late Stanislau and Angelina (Spera) Massarelli.

Lucille was married to Leroy Engmark and resided in Illinois for 65 years. For the past 7 years, Lucille lived in Jackson Township, Ohio with her son and daughter in-law. She worked at Wright Patterson Air Force base during WWII, and worked as a cook for McHenry High School for 10 years. Lucille was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Massillon, Ohio.

She enjoyed bingo, cooking, baking and had great passion for the Ohio State Buckeyes football and Chicago Bulls basketball.

Lucille is survived by her children, James (Chris) Engmark and Brett (Debbie) Engmark; and grandchildren, Brandon Engmark, Danielle Engmark and Sarah Engmark (Ben) Friedman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanislau S. and Angelina M. (Spera) Massarelli; husband, LeRoy Engmark, daughter, Cheryl Miller; siblings, Nicholas and Violet Massarelli, Concepta and Glenn Fisher, Victor and Virginia Massarelli, Dominic and Adeline Massarelli, Virginia and Edward Stuver, Carl and Norma Massarelli and Stanley and Ruby Massarelli.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Very Rev. Canon Matthew Mankowski at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Massillon, Ohio on Sept 30th at 10:30am. Inurnment will be in Rand Hill Park Cemetery, Arlington Heights Il.
