"TOGETHER AGAIN" Lowella May Boone (nee KOZIK), affectionately called “Tootie” or “Trudy”, 87, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2021, surrounded by her family at home. To quote her last words to her eldest grandson, “I’m going to go see God now.” Lowella, born August 7, 1933, the daughter of Elizabeth (Betty) and Steve Kozik, of Wolf Lake, Michigan. She attended Muskegon High School, where she met her future husband, Jerry Don Boone (of Lakeside). Lowella married Jerry and, together, they were to share a union of 65 years. Lowella loved to swim. She loved to watch storms come in off Lake Michigan. Her mathematical skills were cogent and pragmatic. She could never learn enough. Her faith in God was boundless but not dogmatic. Those who were lucky found in her a true friend. Sadly, most of her dearest friends in or around Muskegon, Michigan predeceased her. She never stopped trying to be the very best mother imaginable. Lowella is survived by eldest son Carl Thomas Boone (Bernard Warren Gitlin) of Frederick, Maryland, Clifford Jerry (Laura Kay (Sidock) Boone (of Lusby, Maryland), and Gindy Sue Gray (of Canal Fulton, Ohio); 10 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
