Louise M. Arner

Louise Marie Arner, age 77 of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Affinity Medical Center. She was born to the late Samuel and Nora (Arbaji) Davis in Massillon on November 9, 1933. She was a graduate of Washington High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Massillon and enjoyed cooking, grocery shopping and gambling. She volunteered with the school lunch programs and at St. Mary’s Rummage Sales. She had worked at the former Republic Steel in Canton. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Martha Aowad, Eva Christie and Rita Frohman and her brothers, Joseph, Albert and Robert Davis. Louise is survived by her Husband, James Arner, whom she married on February 14, 1961, her daughters, Valerie (Timothy) Pizzino and Lynn Arner all of Massillon, her grandson, Patrick and Kyle Pizzino and her great grandchildren Anthony and Chase Pizzino. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Raymond L. Paul at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
