Louisa M. Tusing

Louisa M. Tusing, 75, of Navarre, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017. Louisa was born on March 5, 1941 in Massillon, the daughter of the late Donald and Sarah (Appleby) Linerode. Louisa was a 1959 graduate of Navarre High School. She enjoyed ceramics and sewing. She was a member of Christ's Community Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; daughter, Sarah Stewart; and sister, Alfreida Butcher. She is survived by her children, Edwin L. (Melissa) Tusing, Jr., Shannon (Larry) McGarr, and Rodney Tusing, Sr.; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Arleine (Jim) Schroeder, Donna (Danny) Fahrni, and Patty (Bob) Ley; and brother, Donald (Judy) Linerode. A Celebration of Louisa's life will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Christ's Community Church in Navarre. Burial will follow at Union Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Paquelet Funeral Home on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and from 10-11 a.m. at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ's Community Church.
